Connecticut ASMP members Jim Fiora and Bob Handelman will be among ten artists exhibiting at the mixed media Art Place Exhibit at the Yale Physicians Building, 800 Howard Avenue in New Haven. There will be an opening reception for the artists Thusday, July 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will be open Mon -- Fri 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will run through the end of the year.

Gale Zucker's "In Sheep’s Clothing" at Kehler Liddel Gallery

Gale Zucker’s In Sheep’ Clothing collection will hang at New Haven’s Kehler Liddell Gallery during September.
In Sheep’s Clothing is a collection of images by Gale Zucker and featured in her book, Shear Spirit, released in April. The show will run from August 30 through September 28 with an artist’s reception 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., September 7.
The gallery will host a book signing and knitting 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., September 17, and again September 25, it will host an artists’ talk by Zucker on location photography and Laurie Grace on inspiration and technique of combining digital tools with mixed media painting.
There is no admission fee for the gallery or any of the scheduled events, but anyone who wants a signed book is advised to make a reservation in advance.
Kehler Liddel Gallery is open Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., or by appointment by calling (203) 389-9555.
